SWANA Faculty and Staff Association (SFASA)

SWANA Faculty and Staff Association (SFASA)

The SWANA (Southwest Asia and North Africa) Faculty and Staff Association (SFASA) was established in 2025 to build a supportive community that connects and uplifts colleagues across campus. We work to raise awareness of SWANA-related issues, advocate for equity and representation, and foster meaningful relationships that celebrate our diverse identities and contributions. We also strive to encourage the recruitment and retention of SWANA staff, faculty, and students, enhance staff advancement and career development opportunities, and create a more inclusive academic and professional environment where SWANA voices are recognized, celebrated, and empowered.
